What is kermit cintron?

Kermit Cintron is a Puerto Rican former professional boxer who competed from 2000 to 2013. He was born on October 22, 1979, in Carolina, Puerto Rico. Cintron began his professional boxing career as a welterweight and went on to compete in multiple weight divisions throughout his career.

Cintron's boxing career saw him win the IBF welterweight title in 2006 with a victory over Mark Suarez. He successfully defended his title twice before losing it to Antonio Margarito in 2008. Cintron also challenged for the WBC light middleweight title in 2008, but lost to Sergio Martinez.

Throughout his career, Cintron faced notable opponents such as Paul Williams, Alfredo Angulo, and Canelo Alvarez. He retired from professional boxing in 2013 with a record of 39 wins, 6 losses, and 30 knockouts.
